Toronto’s Afro Caribbean Farmers’ Market

  • Green P Parking Lot, also known as Reggae Lane Canada (map)

Toronto, Ontario - The Afro Caribbean Farmers Market in partnership with the York-Eglinton BIA, is a unique farmers' market in Toronto that offers clean, culturally appropriate fruits and vegetables from the Caribbean islands and continental African countries, along with a healthy mix of clean produce grown by our local urban farmers from the diaspora. Tasty baked goods, fresh bread, juices, delicious preserves, sauces and other artisan delights makes this market like no other!

The Afro Caribbean Farmers’ Market is a producer only market, that serves as a community-based initiative focused on 2 main objectives: 1. Provide cost effective CLEAN food to our community 2. Provide a selling platform for local black farmers and food artisans Our market is pleased to be part of the newly appointed ‘Little Jamaica-Afro Caribbean Cultural District,’ a soon to be vibrant and distinct cultural hub in the city of Toronto. The Afro Caribbean Farmers’ Market wishes to plant its roots in the heart of this new district, a place that has been heavily impacted by the Metrolink/Crosstown extension. We know our market will serve as a Sunday weekly hotspot that will animate and add a new sense of value to this part of the city
